A lot of folks are coming to the realization that in the near future, they may have to use their firearms for more than toting to the range on a sunny Saturday and punching paper targets with them. Is it efficient to load mags with stripper clips in the field? I've never tried that plastic NC Star stripper clip guide but promag used to make an injection molded one with a very similar design. I can't find one anywhere. After I got setup and technique squared away, I was loading 5 HK round magazines in under 60 seconds. Better stripper clip guide for AK mags?
Prior to the removable box magazine, the stripper was the fastest way to load a repeating rifle. The lever engages spring, so rounds can be loaded in and out effortlessly - no finger or mag abuse. Slips on and off your mag with ease. I've found and I hope others have too that standard. Only had to find that out once the hard way….
